I started in pure mathematics and physics, then moved into computing. Now I build real-time and large-scale systems, from displays at 200+ Singapore bus stops to assessment infrastructure used by universities across Australia, the UK, US, and ME. Full-stack engineering since 2021.

  • Engineered serverless microservices on OCI for the Jarvis platform, delivering features including recurring event scheduling and geolocation extraction from body-worn camera footage.
  • Maintained code quality through static analysis, query optimisation, and Jest unit/API test coverage across OCI serverless functions.

Bagan Innovation Technology — Backend Engineer

  • Led backend development of ATalk, a real-time WebSocket and WebRTC messaging platform for a private bank, built on Node.js, Redis, DynamoDB, and RabbitMQ.
  • Deployed fault-tolerant microservices on AWS/Kubernetes and built a high-performance file service with parallelised S3/Huawei OBS multipart uploads.

Biziolab — Software Engineer

  • Built real-time Elixir/Phoenix microservices and LiveView UI for Singapore LTA's Passenger Information Display System, operational across 200+ bus stops.
  • Engineered a standalone remote monitoring app for panel control, established AWS CodeBuild CI/CD pipelines and AWS ECS.
